Opening Day 2008 Derby

May 3rd 2008 opening day of Walleye Season, and what an opening it was. 37 teams braved a cool morning a little rain, wind, waves and gray skies. As you look thur the photo's of the winning teams take a good look at the weights. This year's winning team beat last years by 10lb.

The SLRWA and Ed's Bait and tackle would like to thank each and every team for making this opening day one for the record books. Not only were the weights up but so were the number of participants.
