Brandy Brook is located approx: 3 miles east of the village of Waddington, N.Y. emptying into the St. Lawrence River. This is the proposed site of the St. Lawrence River Walleye Associations Fish Hatchery/Research/Visitor Center. The site Located on New York State Parks and Recreation Land will cover approx: 5 acres. There will be 2 half acre ponds a 5,100 Sq foot building for the Hatchery/Research/Visitor Center as well as 20,000 sq ft of parking.

   At the Request of the St. Lawrence River Walleye Association the New York State Power Authority as part of its relicensing agreement has revitilized spawing beds on Brandy Brook.  Kevin McGrath Ph.D. Senior Environmental Scientist for New York State Power Authority is shown here inspecting the new spawing beds.
